Stitch-N-Bitch Kitty Hat

Libby in her Kitty Hat

I got into a knitting frenzy and knitted Libby up this hat in just a few days. That is probably slow for a lot of knitters, but I do not knit super fast. Libby has been wanting this hat for quite awhile. This is the Kitty hat from the Stitch-N-Bitch book, and can also be found at http://www.kittyville.com/knit/kitty_hat.html . I seem to always screw up something when I am knitting an item, so I will just come out and say it now that I screwed up on the kitty ears. I couldn't get the white on both ears to look the same, AND (yes, I screwed up twice on the ears) I sewed one ear on slightly lower than the other. I measured and everything, but obviously not right. After redoing one ear 3 times trying to get the white part right, I am now too damn lazy and sick of the ear to take it off and do it again. Libby hasn't noticed the ears being off, so until she does, I'm not saying anything. Shh...

Wish me luck on my next project. I am going to have to sew on horns on to a hat instead of ears for Emma's devil hat that she now wants after seeing Libby's kitty hat. Of course she can't have the same thing as her sister, no that would be too easy. She saw the pattern for the devil hat right next too the kitty hat. Lucky me!
