Knitting projects completed!

Well, I am going to try and attempt to do this blogging thing again. I have finished, and have taken pictures of 2 of my previous projects. Hopefully, a picture will follow... Both projects were hats that I modified from patterns that I found in magazines and books at the library. I am into knitting things that do not take to long (about a week or so). I like the sense of accomplishment and actually finishing a project. I knitted my daughter Libby a hat from her favorite books, Harry Potter. It matches the scarf I knitted her back in October for Halloween. I got the pattern from Knitter's Magazine Winter 2007 issue. Also, I finally knitted my husband Pat a hat! Yeah! The first hat I knitted for him 7 years ago was so big it would have fit a giant. It was made with acrylic, so I could not even felt it. He can actually wear this hat I just knitted him. I think he no longer feels left out. His pattern was from the book Last-Minute Knitted Gifts, the pattern is called Kim's Hats, ribbed brim variation.
